After the violence in Charlottesville this weekend, many people are wondering about the society of the town, and why it is so divided. Perhaps the people have been taking their cues from their elected and appointed leaders. The Vice-Mayor and Board of Education member in the Virginia town has just resigned following the discovery of his disgustingly racist comments and posts on social media.
Although there is ample evidence that the riots and injury that took place on Saturday were the result of a premeditated plan of leftist agitators, there’s no denying the fact that Wes Bellamy, a 30-year-old high school computer science teacher and politician is a racist. His twitter feed is chock full of violent hate.
Bellamy was appointed to the Board of Education in March by Governor Terry McAuliffe, but the state leader was “horrified” by what was discovered last week.

Charlottesville sounds like a quaint little town in America. However the city represents the epicenter of demonic Democrat activity. Along with racist Wes Bellamy, the city hosts Khizr Khan, the con man the Democrats featured during their convention. Khan fronts for the Muslim Brotherhood, and exposes the evil core of Democrats as it relates to their love of the “religion of grief.”
Because of Khan and his cohorts, Charlottesville has been overrun with refugees. Thus the town is rightfully concerned.
Wes Bellamy is feared worse than Khan for Bellamy’s racism extortion racket.
Bellamy suffered recent controversy, when racist and sexist tweets by him were discovered. He was forced to resign from the Virginia Board of Education.

“Today, I informed Governor McAuliffe that I have decided to resign from my appointment to the Virginia State Board of Education. I would like to redirect my attention and focus to my family, the children and young people whom I serve, and to the City of Charlottesville. I want to thank Governor McAuliffe, Steve Staples, Billy Cannaday, and the rest of the State Board and staff for their support and faith in me.
Release from 25th District Delegate R. Steven Landes:
WEYERS CAVE, VA – Del. R. Steven Landes, R-Weyers Cave, chairman of the House Education Committee, today called on Board of Education member Wes Bellamy to resign immediately from the Virginia Board of Education.
In light of Mr. Bellamy’s past racist and sexist posts on his Twitter account, Landes has called for his resignation. Should Bellamy refuse to resign, Landes is requesting that Governor Terry McAuliffe remove him from his position on the Board of Education.
“Mr. Bellamy’s racist, sexist and outrageous tweets are repugnant. It is especially disturbing to see these comments come from an individual who serves on Virginia’s Board of Education,” said Landes. “The type of language used by Mr. Bellamy is unacceptable, and certainly disqualifies him from serving on the Board of Education. I encourage Mr. Bellamy to do what is best for the commonwealth and resign his seat on the Board at once. Our children and the Board of Education deserve better than this. If Mr. Bellamy will not resign, Governor McAuliffe should remove him from his post immediately to demonstrate that this type of offensive language has no place in our public discourse” Landes added.
Landes represents the 25th House District, which includes parts of Albemarle, Augusta, and Rockingham counties. Landes is currently serving his eleventh term in the Virginia House of Delegates. Visit SteveLandes.com for additional information.
