Cyber Attacks are Extremely Difficult to Attribute

In the case of nation-state attackers, attribution can be nearly impossible. That doesn’t stop governments and the media however, who may deliberately falsify attribution to serve political or economic goals. Feburary, 2010 – French President Nicolas Sarkozy approved a deal to sell two Mistral class amphibious assault ships to the Russian government.
